Ujirani Family Resource Center

We, the Ujirani Resource Center of Santa Clara County, acknowledge that our primary responsibility, in accordance with the mission of the Agency, is to provide appropriate services for every adult and child in the county who demonstrate specific needs. We feel a responsibility to ensure that the needs of the African-American community are addressed. We envision the delivery of services of the optimal level for African American clients by providing resources and services that demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity to needs of African Americans.

Special culturally sensitive services are available for Chicano/Latina, African American and Asian Pacific families. Onsite services are provided by Social Services Agency staff, County Mental Health, Public Health, Drug and Alcohol Services, sexual abuse treatment agencies, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Programs, and private agencies with specialized expertise. The Centers are open to all families; priority registration is given to SSA clients.
