Chapter Monthly Meetings & Coffee Talks
TACA has local chapters in several states around the United States that provide outreach to families affected by autism via monthly educational meetings and coffee talks. Monthly chapter meetings feature expert speakers on a variety of autism related topics while our informal Coffee Talks, bring together experienced and new parents to learn and discuss autism best practices, as well as share stories about their children’s hurdles and triumphs. Coffee Talks for parents are also offered in Spanish in limited locations.
Autism Education Events
TACA offers parents many additional educational opportunities, such as our Autism Learning Seminars, Special Education Law Lectures & Clinics, and National TACA Autism Conferences, which focus on autism-related topics like advocacy and medical issues, featuring expert guest speakers from around the United States.
Autism Journey Guides & Blueprints
Our Autism Journey Guides provide parents a comprehensive overview of best practices following the autism diagnosis and throughout the autism journey. Guides are available for free to new families attending their first TACA event. They can also be purchased from Shop TACA and shipped anywhere in the U.S. Included in the Autism Journey Guide is our Autism Journey Blueprints, providing an outline format of the Guide and offering parents an easier way to read and learn about autism intervention, therapies and medical treatments.

We collaborate with other disability-related organizations by attending and speaking at conferences. Spanish Coffee Talks are offered in select locations, but general support and information in Spanish is offered nationwide via the TACA website and the Parent Mentor program.
Autism Youth Ambassadors
