Our work begins with a thorough assessment of your child’s functioning.
This is a comprehensive process that examines global skills including language, communication, self-help skills, social functioning, and behavioral challenges. It involves direct time with your child, observation, testing, and interviews with parents, teachers, and other caregivers. Once the assessment is complete and goals for treatment are identified a team is assembled to work with you and your child. Teams typically consist of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to supervise and direct the program and behavior interventionists to deliver direct services. Depending on goals, services are delivered in one or more settings such as the home, community, and school. Progress is evaluated continuously so that adjustments can be made to achieve goals as efficiently as possible.
