The mission of Okizu is to provide peer support, respite, mentoring, and recreational programs to meet the needs of all members of families affected by childhood cancer.

For 35 years Camp Okizu has offered support programs to families who have a child diagnosed with cancer. Camp Okizu has become a second family and a home away from home for thousands of patients, siblings, and parents.
We offer a variety of medically supervised residential camping programs throughout the year and hope that we have a program that’s right for you. All of our programs are free of charge.
Oncology overnight camp, for families affected by childhood cancer including siblings camp, family camp, and bereaved family camp sessions. Camps run April through September with oncology and siblings session of one week and family programs on weekends. Recreational activities include swimming, boating, cookouts and nature hikes. Focus on pyschosocial needs in safe, trusting environment.
Free, but donations accepted. Medically supervised.
