Chamberlain’s Children Center empowers at-risk children in a home-like environment to heal from past trauma, discover their strengths, and develop
the skills they need to achieve life-long success.
Non Public School
Chamberlain's Children Center provides residential treatment for children who have been victims of child abuse. CCC currently operates four family-style homes serving not more than six children per home, up to 24 children. The Division of Community Care Licensing of the California State Department of Social Services licences the Residential Treatment Program.
Keith Thompson Non-Public School
Chamberlain's Children Center operates a two-classroom non-public school known as Keith Thompson Non-Public School. Certified by the State Department of Education, the school provides highly specialized, developmentally appropriate education for the children of the Residential Treatment Program.
Health, Wellness and Nutrition Center
Chamberlain’s Children Center offers unique approach to health and wellness. CCC has always focused on the well being of the youth in their care but their newly completed Health, Wellness, and Nutrition Center has allowed the therapeutic treatment center to begin taking a more holistic approach. Childhood obesity and the prevalence of sedentary lifestyles have become major issues in this country, and the children that the center cares for are even more susceptible to these problems. Chamberlain’s staff took note of these issues and in 2010 began taking steps to create a healthier lifestyle for their kids.
The Wellness Center includes a rock climbing wall, gym equipment, and a fully equipped learning lab kitchen.
