To improve the quality of life for individuals with speech and/or language delays/ disorders.


ACEC specializes in providing effective treatment and diagnostic services to children and adults with an array of speech and language delays and disorders. The Clinic Coordinator and Speech-Language Clinician, Mrs. Alcazar, has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders (e.g., Aspbergers Syndrome, PDDNOS, high and low functioning ASD).  Furthermore, Mrs. Alcazar has experience working with children who have the following: developmental, language, and speech delays; speech disorders (e.g., articulation and phonological), motor speech programming difficulties (e.g., verbal apraxia), sensory/attention difficulties/deficits, motor weakness (e.g., dysarthria), fluency (e.g., stuttering and cluttering), selective mutism, voice disorders (e.g., vocal nodules), children/adolescence with syndromes (e.g., down syndrome), and cognitive impairments.  Please inquire for more details.   


Speech and language therapy/assessment services are available to individuals of all ages, including pre-school, elementary school, middle school, high school, and adults.
