Addison-Penzak JCC

The Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center of Silicon Valley is a nonprofit community center that welcomes people of all faiths.  We work to enhance Jewish life in Silicon Valley, and to provide social, cultural, educational and recreational services for the entire community. The JCC is committed to making it possible for individuals with special needs to participate in JCC activities. While inclusion is not yet possible for every individual with special needs, we are working toward it.

Fun & Fitness with Friends is a social and recreation program for children and teens with special needs. The program provides a supportive, structured, and nurturing environment to develop new skills and make friends.

Children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including: sports, swimming, arts & crafts, cooking, dance/movement, and more.

Children are separated into two groups: ages 6-12, and ages 13-18.

Each child is paired with a trained volunteer who assists them and provides one-on-one attention throughout the program.

To sign up your child for the program, please fill out a Registration Form and an Assessment Form. Registration must be completed monthly, but the Assessment Form only needs to be filled out once.  Forms are available at the bottom of this page.

My son attended their Fun and Fitness with friends. . Staff are helpful and accomodating and the facility is super clean and nice. The program is open to all, so my son didn't quite find it a great social opportunity, but that would change for each session, I would think.
