Ability First Camp Information

  • Ability First is a wheelchair sports camp designed to provide instructional/recreational sports opportunities to youth with physical disabilities.
  • Sports range from the beginner through both the junior and national levels of athletic competition: 
  • Adapted Aquatics
  • Basketball
  • Cycling
  • Quad Rugby
  • Rock Climbing
  • Soccer
  • Track and Field
  • Tennis
  • Water skiing. 
  • Evening programs are designed to provide opportunities for leisure and social activities.
  • Instilling confidence is a main goal of Ability First, says Eric Snedeker, the Camp Director."We want these kids to go away with the skills that will help them face the obstacles, hardships, and challenges they will face in todays world."
