Navigating child care options for a child with special needs can be overwhelming and should be given special consideration. 4Cs Council can help you make that decision. 4Cs Council offers:

  • A list of providers who have attended trainings on various topics including children with special needs in their programs.
  • Consultation to help parents find child care services.

Resource and Referral for Parents helps families find licensed child care providers.

Resource and Referral for Providers maintains service profiles for licensed child care providers. Providers should keep an up-to-date profile with 4Cs Resource and Referral so that referrals given to families are current and accurate.

Subsidized Child Care Programs administered by 4Cs pay for child care for eligible families.

Child Care Food Program reimburses participating child care providers for serving nutritious meals to the children in their care.

Family Child Care Network pays for child care for eligible families with a focus on children's early development.

Health and Safety Program offers training and resources to child care providers in CPR, First Aid, Disaster Preparedness, and similar practices to ensure the safety of children in their care.

4Cs operates several private Child Development Centers open to families enrolled in subsidized programs as well as non-subsidized families who pay out of pocket for child care services.
