Does your child struggle with reading fluency and comprehension? Are you desperate to find a helpful iPad app, but don’t know where to start? With thousands of educational apps to choose from, how can you possibly know what’s right for your struggling reader? Well, sit back and relax! Our assistive technology specialist has done the research for you. She’ll touch on a variety of reading challenges during this one-hour demonstration of apps for reading. You will also receive a resource list of iPad reading apps to explore on your own.

Join us for this informative workshop in which you will learn about the useful, built-in features of the iPad. In the second part of the workshop you will see a demonstration of various free and low-cost apps in the categories of reading, writing, behavior management and social skills for developmental ages 0-8.
