Each month we will have either a speaker or a parent chat.
We welcome parents, caregivers, and professionals of children with autism
spectrum disorders or developmental delays in communication, behavior,
and social skills.
PHP provides a forum for parents and professionals to get information.

CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE FOR REGENERATIVE MEDICINE
Sr. Director Public Communications & Patient Advocate Outreach
Kevin McCormack is the communications director at CIRM, the state’s stem cell agency. The agency was created by voters when they approved Proposition 71 in 2004. It gave the agency $3 billion to fund stem cell research in California. Kevin is here to tell us how they have used the money to make California a global center for stem cell research and how they are investing into research in Autism Spectrum Disorder that is deepening our understanding of the condition and, hopefully, paving the way to new treatments.
PHP members free. Non-members $5. Annual PHP memberships available
