10th Annual Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference: Autism Through the Life Span

Hosted by The Stanford Children’s Hospital and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital 

A one-day conference for parents, educators and care providers of children and adults with autism spectrum disorder. This annual update will focus on new research and services for individuals with autism to optimize their long-term functioning. Parents, teachers, pediatricians, psychologists, caregivers, media and anyone with an interest in autism are invited to attend.

Keynote speakers:

  • "Early Intervention and Brain Plasticity in Autism", Geraldine Dawson , PhD, Professor, Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Pediatrics, and Psychology and Neuroscience and Director of the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development at Duke University, North Carolina.
  • "Sensory Processing in Autism" Anthony Norcia, PhD, Professor (Research) of Psychology, Stanford University
  • "The Autism Advantage" Thorkil Sonne, Founder and CEO, Specialisterne Foundation and Specialisterne.
